All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Post'keep closed' on exterior side of gate. Correct in 2 weeks. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Provide rope the width of the pool attached to the life ring. Correct in 1 week. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION., Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed -length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17 -inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Build-up at the bottom of the pool. Clean as needed. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION., Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to <br />accumulate in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool <br />surfaces clean and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmer lacks restrictor valve at the bottom of one of the skimmers. Provide in 2 weeks. <br />O -rings lacking on both float valve assembly and one also lacks shutter/check valve. Provide in 2 weeks. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION., Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Effluent gauge is not functioning. Replace in 2 weeks. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
