<br /> OBSERVATION : Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling . The containers
<br /> were:
<br /> 1 . A 5-gallon container storing a damaged flammable aerosol can of Slime Tire Sealant was inaccurately labeled as
<br /> reactive waste . The container was also inaccurately labeled with Rohnert Park as the generator's city address and
<br /> 94928 as the zip code.
<br /> 2. A 5-gallon container storing used soda ash was inaccurately labeled with Rohnert Park as the generator's city
<br /> address and 94928 as the zip code.
<br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the
<br /> words "Hazardous Waste" , name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition
<br /> (contents), accumulation start date
<br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective
<br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
<br /> (EHD) within 30 days .
<br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II .
<br /> Overall Inspection Comments !
<br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement
<br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation , and any supporting
<br /> paperwork, by 9/23/2021 .
<br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead
<br /> of having them sign . Starting September 1 , 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided. at EHD hourly rate
<br /> ($ 152) . To schedule an appointment, please call (209 ) 468-3420 .
<br /> Documents provided during inspection : Return To Compliance & Corrective Action Statement form , hazardous
<br /> waste labeling guidance , List of Free CUPA Training Classes, inspection photos
<br /> Waste streams found : damaged retail auto chemicals , spent lead acid batteries
<br /> AFTER THE COMPLIANCE DATE, EHD WILL BILL FOR ALL TIME AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH BRINGING
<br /> THIS FACILITY BACK INTO COMPLIANCE,
<br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
