Shaw Rd., Stockton <br />APN: 143-260-06, SR0084171 <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated July 27, 2021 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL Study was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater <br />treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from the <br />proposed Motorcycle School. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />Based on the information provided the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for <br />standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance <br />Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br />2. Percolation test conducted on July 7, 2021 yielded a percolation rate of 25 minutes/inch. At this rate, <br />an eight -foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater <br />pursuant to San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. Per SSNL <br />Study, groundwater on site is reported between 41.5 and 64.5 feet below surface grade. <br />3.
