Soil Suitability/ Nitrate Loading Study 1rerracon
Eagle's Nest Motorcycle School Stockton, California
July 27, 2021 Terracon Project No. NA217040
1.4.3 Water Sample Location
There are no groundwater wells located on the site; therefore, no groundwater samples were
collected. Based on interviews with the client, drinking water for the site will be provided by Cal
Water.
1.4.4 Groundwater Sample Analysis
Refer to Section 1.4.3.
1.4.5 Groundwater Sample Handling
Refer to Section 1.4.3.
1.5 Soil Profile and Geologic Information
The site is depicted on the Geologic Map of California 2010, as within generalized quaternary
Pleistocene and Holocene deposits which are comprised primarily of unconsolidated and semi -
consolidated alluvium, lake, playa, and terrace deposits.
Terracon reviewed the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources
Conversation Service (NRCS) Web Soil Survey and USDA Soil Survey of San Joaquin County
(1992) for information regarding soil properties. Based on information obtained from the USDA
sources, site soils consist of Jacktone-Urban land complex which consist of somewhat poorly
drained soils with 0 to 2 percent slopes. Parent material consists of alluvium derived from mixed
rock sources. Typical soil profiles consist of 0 to 24 inches clay, 34 to 37 inches indurated, 37 to
46 inches stratified fine sandy loam to clay loam, and 42 to 60 inches cemented soils.
1.5.1 Soil Boring Locations
Based on information provided by the client, the proposed leach field will be located east-
southeast of the proposed building (Exhibit 2). Three percolation test borings P4, P5, P6 were
advanced in the vicinity of the proposed leach field.
1.5.2 Soil Boring Dimensions
Three borings were advanced using a track mounted drill rig with a 6 -inch diameter auger to 25
(P4), 16 (P5), and 3.5 (P6) feet bgs.
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 9
