<br />4. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND /OR
<br />INSTALL CUTTING, PATCHING, FRAMING, ROOF-
<br />ING, PAINTING, EQUIPMENT SCREENING, CURBS,
<br />OR PLATFORMS WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
<br />THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.
<br />5. EQUIPMENT, INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
<br />SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
<br />APPLICABLE CODES.
<br />6. ALL A/C SYSTEMS SHALL BE TESTED AND BALANCED
<br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH AA13C GUIDELINES. THE T & B
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY MECH. CONTRACTOR OF
<br />ANY DEFICIENCY IN THE SYSTEMS AND HAVE THEM
<br />CORRECTED PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL & START UP OF
<br />A/C SYSTEMS. THE PROPER AMOUNT OF OSA SHALL
<br />COMPLY WITH T-24 CALCULATIONS.

<br />TITLE 24 NOTES
<br />TITLE 24 FOR AC ENERGY CONSERVATION
<br />1, ALL DUCTWORK, INCLUDING INSULATION, SHALL
<br />CONFORM TO CALIFORNIA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE,
<br />2016 TITLE 24, AND THE CMC LOW VELOCITY DUCT
<br />CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS, LATEST 2016 EDITION.
<br />2, ALL EXHAUST FANS TO BE FURNISHED WITH BACK -
<br />DRAFT DAMPERS.
<br />3. ALL AC UNITS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A
<br />THERMO- STAT FOR AUTOMATIC REGULATION OF
<br />TEMPERATURE AND A FOUR HOUR OVERRIDE
<br />TIMER.THERMOSTAT AND TIMER SHALL BE
<br />READILY ACCESSIBLE AND BE MANUALLY
<br />ADJUSTABLE.
<br />4. ALL THERMOSTATS SHALL BE CAPABLE OF BEING SET
<br />TO MAINTAIN SPACE TEMPERATURE SET POINTS FROM
<br />55 DEGREES F. TO 85 DEGREES F. AND SHALL BE
<br />CAPABLE OF OPERATING THE SYSTEM HEATING AND
<br />COOLING SEQUENCE.
<br />5, ALL THERMOSTATS SHALL BE ADJUSTABLE TO
<br />PROVIDE A TEMPERATURE RANGE OF UP TO 5 DEGREES
<br />F. BETWEEN FULL HEATING AND FULL COOLING AND
<br />SHALL HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF TERMINATING ALL
<br />HEATING AT A TEMPERATURE NO MORE THAN 70
<br />DEGREES F. AND OF TERMINATING ALL COOLING AT A
<br />TEMPERATURE NOT LESS THAN 78 DEGREES F.
<br />6. TRANSVERSE JOINTS FOR ALL AIR SUPPLY DUCTS
<br />INSTALLED WHERE AIR LEAKAGE WOULD BE NON-
<br />BENEFICIAL TO THE OCCUPIED AREA TEMPERATURE
<br />REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE SEALED WITH APPROVED
<br />MASTIC OR TAPE.
<br />7, A MAINTENANCE LABEL SHALL BE AFFIXED TO
<br />MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND A MAINTENANCE
<br />MANUAL SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE OWNERS USE.
