OBSERVATION: A 10,000 gallon diesel tank has been permanently closed but was missing a sign with the word permanently closed and a date. REGULATION GUIDANCE: When a tank is not in use, it must be permanently closed by meeting the following conditions: - remove all liquid and sludge from each container and connecting line - disconnect and blank off all connecting lines and piping have from the tank/ container - close and lock all valves - post a sign conspicuously stating that it is a permanently closed container and denoting the date of closure. CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site. This was corrected on site. This is a minor violation. Overall Inspection Comments: To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of having them sign.
