BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> R-22-170 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE INITIAL STUAYIMITIGATED NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. PA-2200131, <br /> MAS'T'ER PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. PA-2100205, SPECIFIC PLAN Il <br /> ANIF'.NDMENT APPLICATION NO. PA-2100206,ZONE RECLASSIFICATION <br /> APPLICATION NO. PA-2200132, AND REVISIONS OF APPROVED ACTIONS FOR MAJOR <br /> SUBDIVISION APPLICATION NO. PA-0600327 (SCH#2022040227) <br /> - - -- - -- - - - - -- <br /> WHEREAS, on July 21, 2022, the San Joaquin County Planning Commission considered <br /> this matter; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Project includes General Plan Amendment.No, PA-2204131,Master Plan <br /> Amendment No. PA-2100205, Specific Plan TI Amendment No. PA-2100206, Zone <br /> Reclassification No. PA-2200132,and Revisions of Approved Actions for Major Subdivision No. <br /> PA-0600327; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed General Plan Amendment consists of amendments to the San <br /> Joaquin County General Plan Map, as shown in Attachment A of the Board of Supervisors Letter, <br /> and incorporated by reference herein; and <br /> WIIEREAS, in accordance with Public Resources Code §21000 et. seq. and State CEQA <br /> Guidelines §15000 et, seq., San Joaquin County prepared and circulated an Initial Study and <br /> Mitigated Negative Declaration for a 30-day public review period beginning on April 11, 2022, <br /> and ended on May 10, 2022, that evaluated the potential environmental effects of the proposed <br /> project; and <br /> WHEREAS, on the basis of the whole record before the Board of Supervisors, which is <br /> documented in the project files of the San Joaquin County Community Development Department, <br /> it was determined that although the proposed project could have a significant effect on the <br /> environment, required mitigation measures will be implemented to reduce these effects to a less <br /> than significant level. Mitigation measures are incorporated and included as part of the Conditions <br /> of Approval for the project; and <br /> WFIEREAS, notice inviting comments on the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration was given its compliance with CEQA Guidelines §15072; and <br /> W14EREAS, on October 15, 2021, the County sent letters to tribes and organizations that <br /> asked to be notified of any upcoming projects pursuant to Section 21080.3.1(d) of the Public <br /> Resources Code and the 30-day response period concluded on November 17, 2021; and <br /> Resolution Template 0112017 <br />
