Households at every <br />Income level will be able to find housing thea is affordable_ Assistance will be made <br />available to fill affordability gaps for specified households that cannot find affordable <br />hausing. <br />The primary emphasis of the Affordable Housing Program will be to rely on market forces, <br />coupled with land use design ane! density constraints. to dictate the appropriate numtaer, <br />monthly rents, and sands prices of dweiiing units within the cerrirnunity. To "end <br />incentives to employees who wish to live in Mountain House and to help address any <br />affordability gaps that may be present in the community, employers are encouraged to <br />contribute to the Mountain House Housitig Trust Fund andlar, to provide down payment <br />assistance, mortgage buy -downs, temporary collateral against mortgages, or Other <br />incentives_ <br />Pian Description <br />SPIT includes a similar residential program as iz cvntalned In the Master Plan, indWding <br />the provision of multiple densities of residential land use. These lartd use types are <br />intended to facilitate the construction of a variety of housing types and price ranges within <br />the communlly.
