In the rliai&-ieri family neighborhoods and <br />the Neighborhood K mixed active adult and family neighbgfhoad, a <br />centrally located Neighborh❑od Park of approximately five acres is 0ntad <br />adjacent to the neighborhood K-8 school. These Neighborhood Paries will <br />be developed and operated in Coordination with the schools, and will <br />provide for active recreation activities within pe WNat1 and bicycle a❑cess <br />of nefghbarhood residents. Facilities within Neighborhood Parks may <br />lndode Wrnming pools, hard surface courts, playgrounds, field garnesr <br />picnic tables, and free play areas. <br />Community Parks: Community parks are located to provide easy access <br />from neighborhoods, and to make use of the Mountain Mouse Creek <br />corridor. Much of the arraao allocated to commun4y parks is located <br />along Mountain Flouse. Creek, with major parks sited lust north of the Town <br />Center, Additional community parks are located south of Grant Line Road, <br />adjacent to Neighborhood AIB and north of Byron Road to serve areas <br />mete distant from the Creek and Town Center. Community parks are <br />intended to provide active recreation facilities such as athWic felds and <br />Complexes, swimming pools, tennis ra❑quet courts, and for pnsslve uses <br />such as picnicking, joggingMmIkingfbicycle paths, and nature areas. <br />A portion of acreage designated for parks may be utilized for c❑mmunitp <br />facilities sunk as senior centers, swimming pools. Stadiums. or libraries <br />provided overall minimum County Park standards are met. <br />Regional Park: The 88 -acre Regional Park consists of a riverfront park <br />along the Old kNer edge_ This location snakes use of the river's open <br />spacal wlldllfe and scenic values to provide a regional open space and <br />recmational resource.
