I will take photos of
the soil and will need to witness the method used to confirm the soil is adequately cleaned of the phosphoric
acid (such as pH test strips or confirmation sample of the ground soil) before any backfill takes place.
For waste generated from cleanup: If the excavated soil or other tank waste material will be disposed of as non-
hazardous waste, we will need documentation such as analytical lab results that confirm it is non-
hazardous waste. And we will also need a copy of disposal receipts. If disposed of as hazardous waste, all we
need is a copy of the manifest.
Thank you,
Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Front Desk: (209) 468-3420
Mobile: (209) 561-8923
Fax: (209) 468-3433
Email: cmuro@sjgov.org
SAN.JOAOUIN
From: Burger, Aimee <Aimee.Burger@simplot.com >
Sent: Monday, February 1, 2021 9:46 AM
To: Muro, Claudia [EHD] <cmuro@sjgov.org >
Cc: Mock, Ryan <Ryan.Mock@simplot.com >; Kinsey, Krista <Krista.Kinsey@simplot.com >; Johnson, Monty
<monty.johnson@simplot.com >
Subject: RE: [EXTERNAL] RE: Phosphoric Acid tank status - Simplot Lathrop
CAUTION: This email is originated from outside of the organization.
