Is the tank going to be repaired or disposed of entirely?
Will the tank and/or soil be covered during the rain event? I am not sure what the tank condition is, but you
mentioned it was cut. If the open tank or soil underneath are not covered, the rain may cause additional release
of the phosphoric acid if left uncovered, in which case we would need to be notified of the second release.
If you are covering, please send photo (s) of the areas covered.
Thank you,
Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Front Desk: (209) 468-3420
Mobile: (209) 561-8923
Fax: (209) 468-3433
Email: cmuro@sigov.org
SANIJOAQUIN
COUNTY
From: Burger, Aimee <Aimee.Burger@sinnplot.com >
Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2021 2:36 PM
To: Muro, Claudia [EHD] <cmuro@sigoy.org>
Cc: Mock, Ryan <Ryan.Mock@simplot.com >; Kinsey, Krista <Krista.Kinsey@simplot.com >; Johnson, Monty
<monty.iohnson@sinnplot.com >
Subject: Phosphoric Acid tank status - Simplot Lathrop
CAUTION: This email is originated from outside of the organization.
