County Agricultural Commissioners <br />April 20, 2020 <br />Page 3 <br />• Do not apply under conditions that would allow INTREPID® 2F to come into contact <br />with adjacent crops other than rice by drift as injury may occur. <br />• Do not apply INTREPID® 2F by air when wind velocity exceeds 10 mph. <br />• Do not make more than two applications of INTREPID® 2F per growing season. <br />• Hold treated water for at least 7 days after treatment. <br />• Applications made in accordance with the above provisions are not expected to result in <br />residues of methoxyfenozide in or on rice, grain in excess of 0.50 parts per million (ppm) <br />and rice, bran in excess of 4.0 parts per million (ppm). The Agency has determined that <br />these levels are adequate to protect public health. Time-limited tolerances have been <br />established in 40CFR at 180.544(b), which also supports this emergency use. <br />• Use of this product may pose a hazard to endangered or threatened species. Before <br />applying this product, applicators must obtain information regarding the proximity of <br />endangered species habitats and follow any applicable use limitations. For details, contact <br />your County Agricultural Commissioner or refer to the Department of Pesticide <br />Regulation's PRESCRIBE Internet Database: <br />http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/endspec/prescint.htm <br />• A copy of the Section 18 Use Instructions (label) must be in the possession of the user at <br />the time of application. <br />PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Applicators and other handlers must wear: <br />• Long-sleeved shirt and long pants <br />• Chemical -resistant gloves made out of and waterproof material <br />• Shoes plus socks <br />Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for <br />washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. <br />AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS: Use this product only in accordance with its <br />labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170. This Standard contains <br />requirements for protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses <br />and handlers of agricultural pesticides.
