February 17, 2023
Antone Koep
14771 W Bethany Road
Tracy, CA 95304
Giuseppe Sanfilippo
San Joaquin County
Community Development Department
1810 E Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: Application Number PA-2100238 (UP)
Dear Mr. Sanfilippo,
This letter is concerning the above-mentioned application number also known as the Religious
Assembly to be developed by applicant, Tulasi C.Tummala.
I am a person that has always believed the more churches the better. I've always encouraged
them in where I've lived. However, I don't see this proposal/project being a good fit for this
property. I live within walking distance of the proposed site and I can testify to the eco-
sensitivity to this property.
This property is less than 2000 ft from The Old River which is one of the most unique and eco
sensitive places is the world. Properties in this area routinely have endangered species
traversing and flying overhead.
A nearly extinct salmon run takes place just 100's of feet away. To help protect the eco-
sensitivity of this property and the area, this property should remain at its current zoning of
AG40 and stop infringing on the migration of birds, salmon and fragile delta minnow.
This area currently has no city services and is located on a country road. A mega church of this
size would put a major strain on this very sensitive eco system of the San Joaquin Delta and
create extra traffic which the roads are not designed for. We already have weekly church
events that has cars parking on private property, on the side of the streets with people walking
on roadways amongst cars, trucks and farm traffic.
