Administrative Draft Environmental Impact Report <br /> Gill Medical Center Project <br /> 4.22.4 Cumulative Impacts <br /> The geographic area considered for the analysis of cumulative impacts related to wildfire is the local <br /> project vicinity.Wildfire risk in the County and at the Project site is generally low.The project site and <br /> surrounding area is primarily in agricultural use. Future development of land in San Joaquin County would <br /> result in a cumulative increase in demand for fire protection, which may require the provision of new or <br /> physically altered facilities, the construction of which could result in adverse environmental impacts. <br /> Cumulative fire protection projects would undergo environmental review and would be required to <br /> demonstrate compliance with CEQA prior to project approval. Where feasible, impacts from construction <br /> of new facilities and response plans will be mitigated to a less-than-significant level.The proposed <br /> project, in combination with cumulative projects, would have a less than cumulatively considerable <br /> impact. <br /> Wildfire 4.22-4 October 2021 <br />
