THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REMAIN, SHALL BE PART OF THE <br />DEMOLITION WORK REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT WORK AS SHOWN IN THE CONSTRUCTION <br />DOCUMENTS. <br />2. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION TO ACHIEVE A CLEAN SPACE <br />READY FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. <br />3. VISIT SITE, EXAMINE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS SURROUNDING SITE, DETERMINE <br />REQUIREMENTS UNDER WHICH WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED. <br />4. PROTECT AND MAINTAIN ALL ELEMENTS WHICH ARE TO REMAIN OR WHICH ARE TO REMAIN <br />UNTIL NEW PERMANENT INSTALLATIONS ARE COMPLETE. <br />5. TAKE PRECAUTIONS NECESSARY TO PROTECT ADJOINING SPACE FROM EXCESSIVE DUST AND <br />DEBRIS, AND ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FROM DAMAGES RESULTING FROM NEGLIGENCE OF <br />THESE ITEMS. <br />6. CLEAN AND PROTECT CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS AND ADJOINING MATERIALS IN PLACE. <br />7. APPLY PROTECTIVE COVERING WHERE REQUIRED TO ENSURE PROTECTION FROM DAMAGE <br />OR DETERIORATION. <br />8. IF UNANTICIPATED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, OR STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS CONFLICT WITH <br />THE INTENDED FUNCTION OR DESIGN, INVESTIGATE AND MEASURE BOTH NATURE AND EXTENT <br />OF THE CONFLICT. SUBMIT REPORT TO THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN WRITTEN DETAIL. <br />REARRANGE SCHEDULE AS NECESSARY TO CONTINUE OVERALL JOB PROGRESS. <br />9. REMOVE FROM BUILDING SITE ALL DEBRIS, RUBBISH AND MATERIALS RESULTING FROM <br />DEMOLITION. TRANSPORT AND LEGALLY DISPOSE OF OFF-SITE. <br />10. REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF ALL ABANDONED EQUIPMENT IN SPACE. <br />EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS SHOWN ARE TO FACE TO EDGE OF SLAB, ALL OTHER DIMENSIONS ARE TO <br />FACE OF FINISH UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. <br />GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO DISPOSE OF ALL WASTE DURING DEMOLITION IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH ALL APPLICABLE JURISDICTIONS, CODES AND ORDINANCES. <br />GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO FIELD LOCATED AND DEACTIVATE IF, IN WALLS TO BE DEMOLISHED , <br />ALL EXISTING "HOT" ELECTRICAL WIRING PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. <br />CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ON SITE AND NOTIFY DESIGN PROFESSIONALS OF <br />ANY DISCREPANCIES IMMEDIATELY, PRIOR TO PROCEEDING. <br />ALL EXISTING WALL FINISHES THROUGHOUT THE SAID WORK (UNIT 15) SHALL BE REMOVED. <br />REFER TO OWNER FOR COORDINATION OF ALL PROPOSED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND <br />PLUMBING EQUIPMENT. <br />General Notes - Demolition <br />5401 N.
