The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for QUICKI KLEEN CAR WASH as of November 15 , 2021 . <br /> Open violations from September 06, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #106 - Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures . <br /> OBSERVATION At the time of inspection , it could not be demonstrated that employees who handle hazardous <br /> waste were properly trained . Owner, Dabb Gurmeet, indicated that he has not provided hazardous waste training to <br /> his employees . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures , relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately train the employees . Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste . <br /> According to the sign on the side of the drum , the used absorbent is placed back inside the absorbent container for <br /> reuse . The lid to <br /> the container was observed open and not closed properly. The gasoline vapors are being allowed to evaporate . <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire , explosion , or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil , or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment <br /> Immediately contain all gasoline contaminated absorbents in properly sealed containers to prevent vapors from <br /> escaping into the environment and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations . Submit a statement <br /> and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
