This <br /> procedure outlines the appropriate steps to take when a damaged or leaking hazmat, Limited <br /> Quantity (Ltd. Qty.), lithium batteries or an unknown/unlabeled package is discovered. <br /> CAUTION: Package handlers should stop operations, warn others in the area, and <br /> immediately notify a manager when a leak or damage occurs to a Hazmat package (e.g., <br /> Ltd. Qty. or regulated material not classified as a DOT Hazmat).
