Previous area of concern regarding a significant adult fly population around the feedstock and compost piles has <br /> been corrected. Several chemical fly traps were now on site and the adult fly population has decreased <br /> significantly. <br /> 2. There was afire at the compost site on 10/13/10. One of the incoming green waste piles caught on fire. The fire <br /> was completely put out that same day. All of the green waste will still be used for compost. The current <br /> temperature of the pile that caught on fire is 123 F. Analysis of records showing daily temperautres taken for <br /> incoming green waste from 10/1/10-10/27/10 showed a range of 65 F- 130 F. Facility documented the fire on <br /> their special occurences log. <br /> 3. The temperature range of the windrows was 143 F-159 F. The temperature range of the incoming green waste <br /> pile was 70 F-75 F. The temperatures of the unscreened product, the final product, and the ground up green <br /> waste was 127 F, 113 F, and 142 F respectively. <br />
