A copy of
your letter is attached. At our request, Kleinfelder has addressed
the deficient items and incorporated the corrections satisfactorily
into the first two quarterly monitoring events.
A copy of the Kleinfelder letter, dated March 26, 1990, addressing
the deficiencies is, enclosed for your use. Additionally,
Kleinfelder has reviewed and made an assessment regarding the
concern that the extraction rate for LW -1 may effect the direction
of ground water flow at the landfill. Their finding, detailed in
the March 26, 1990 letter, indicate that because of geohydrological
consideration there is no effect on the ground water gradient at
MW -1 and MW -2.
I hope this submission will allow you to approve the Implementation
Plan.
Very truly yours,
P
RUDY RODRIGUEZ
Assistant Civil Engineer
Solid Waste Division
RR: ss
LA 31528
Enclosures
c ,, villa, ,'44iitjl.'Serv-' 0
