A monthly
conversion factor was used for January 1990.
**70 acre site currently landfilled (RWD May 1988, page 16)
Surface Water Monitoring:
Samples were taken near location S-1, location S-2 has been dry.
The water type from this one-time sampling event was a sodium -
calcium/chloride-sulfate mix.
Monitoring will continue as conditions permit, and an assessment
of surface water quality will be made when more data is available.
Groundwater Monitoring:
Neither groundwater gradient nor water chemistry changed
significantly through this reporting period. It is our assessment
that the groundwater quality is still very good.
The previously promised discussion of the effect of daily pumping
of LW -1 on the groundwater gradient has been previously forwarded
to you.
If you have any questions regarding this report, please contact me
at (209) 468-3066.
Sincerely Yours,
Rudy Rodriguez
Assistant Civil Engineer
RR: ss
R:\RUDY\EN\FH\GWMON\JAN90
LA 31204
c: Ed Padilla
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Renee Zollinger
Kleinfelder, Inc.
Dante Nomellini
