Box 1528 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Dear Mr. lima.: <br />RE: Five Year Permit Review, Foothill Sanitary Landfill, Permit Number 39 -AA -0004 <br />Solid waste facilities permits are required to be reviewed at least every five years <br />by local enforcement agencies. This letter constitutes notice, pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 66796.33(d) and Title 14, California Code of Regulations, Section <br />18213(a), that the permit issued to the above facility is in need of review. our <br />records indicate that this facility's most recent permit or permit review is dated <br />09/19/83. <br />An additional requirement for landfill owners and operators is to have a registered <br />civil engineer conduct a periodic site review (14 CCR 17751). This review is also <br />required at least every five years and should be completed and submitted with the <br />application for permit review to your local enforcement agency. <br />An application for permit review, including an updated Report of Disposal Site <br />Information and an engineering review, should be filed with the local enforcement <br />agency by November 1, 1988. Upon completion of its review, the local enforcement <br />agency will determine if a revision of the permit is required. If a revision is <br />necessary, you will be directed to subunit an application for permit revision. If a <br />revision is not necessary, the local enforcement agency will notify the Board and any <br />interested person of its decision and reasons therefor. <br />If you feel this notice is in error, please so state in a letter to the Permits Section <br />at the letterhead address by August 1, 1988.
