FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL, INC.
P. O. BOX 1528
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 95201
June 27, 1989
California Waste Management Board
1020 Ninth Street, Suite 300
Sacramento, California 95814
Attention: John K. Bell
Re: Foothill Sanitary Landfill, Inc.
Compliance Agreement
Facility No. 39 -AA -0004
Dear Sir:
This letter agreement is supplementary to the Compli-
ance Agreement submitted by way of letter dated February 17,
1989. Your letter of May 31, 1989 requested an action plan
at the site that will insure that wastes (including tires)
will be covered at the end of each day. In the future, if
the normal refuse stream is significantly interrupted such
as in the case of the first inspection, tires from
commercial haulers will not be accepted. In any case, all
waste (including tires) will be covered by the end of each
calendar day. Arrangements are in place to operate overtime
if necessary. Tires will, if necessary, be covered with
earth fill alone rather than refuse and then earth fill.
This letter shall constitute the first amendment to
that Compliance Agreement dated February 17, 1989.
The above first
Agreement is approved.
Dated:
FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL, INC.
By: -1
Dante V.
