H <br />PERMIT 1SERVCE". <br />1 Five Year Permit Review <br />With regard to your July 31, 1989, letter to me, correspon- <br />dence regarding Foothill Sanitary Landfill Inc.'s five year per- <br />mit review should be sent to Foothill Sanitary Landfill Inc., the <br />permit holder, and to the County Public Works Department (in care <br />of Tom Horton), which is preparing the engineering review. By <br />Board Order B-88-1057, the Board of Supervisors authorized the <br />Department of Public Works to perform the five year permit review <br />work on behalf of Foothill Sanitary Landfill Inc. A copy of that <br />Board Order and the Public Works Department's supporting report <br />is attached for your information. <br />The question of the ownership of the real property upon which <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill Inc. conducts a landfill operation on <br />behalf of the County is separate from the five year permit review <br />process. Reports on land ownership changes when the land is <br />being used for a disposal site are covered by Section 18217 of <br />Title XIV, Division 7, Chapter 5, Article 3, of the California <br />Code of Regulations. <br />If anyone other than the Public Works Department and Foothill <br />Sanitary Landfill Inc. has requested copies of your report on the <br />five year permit review, you should respond by sending the <br />reguester a copy of your report. <br />B:FOOTHILL8 <br />cc: Tom Horton <br />Solid Waste Manager <br />
