Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Attn. : Ron Valinoti <br /> Dear Ron: <br /> Pursuant to our conversation at Linden-Peters Fire District Head- <br /> quarters today, the following are the additional requirements which both <br /> the California Department of Forestry and the Linden-Peters Fire <br /> District would like to see become a part of the solid waste facility <br /> permit for Foothill Sanitary Landfill. <br /> Supervision (Section 17648) - The operator should provide the <br /> responsible on-site manager' s name, address, and telephone number <br /> to all fire agencies having jurisdiction at the landfill site. <br /> Burning Wastes (Section 17741) - The area designated for extinguish- <br /> ing incoming burning wastes should be within 50 feet of a fire hy- <br /> drant and in an area where flammables will not ignite either accumu- <br /> lated garbage or flammable vegetation. <br /> These recommendations superceed those of our letter to you dated <br /> December 14, 1977. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> JAMES D.
