BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> R-78-2172 <br /> RESOLUTION ANNEXING CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO WALNUT ACRES PUBLIC <br /> IMPROVEMENT AND STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, on July 22, 1976, the Walnut Acres Public <br /> Improvement and Street Lighting Maintenance District was estab- <br /> lished pursuant to The Improvement Act of 1911 for the purposes <br /> of maintaining and operating a domestic water supply and distri- <br /> bution system, a storm water drainage system, and a street light- <br /> ing system; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on November 21, 1978, this Board of Supervisors <br /> did adopt a Resolution of Intention to Annex Contiguous Terri- <br /> tory to Walnut Acres Public Improvement and Street Lighting Main- <br /> tenance District (R-78-1966) , and notice of the adoption of said <br /> resolution of intention was duly given by the Clerk of this Board <br /> as shown by the proof of publication in the Stockton Record show- <br /> ing publication on November 29 and December 6, 1978, by the cer- <br /> tificate of posting showing posting on December 7, 1978, and by <br /> the certificate of mailing showing mailing on December 1, 1978, <br /> all being filed this day with this Board of Supervisors; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public hearing was duly held on said matter <br /> and evidence, both oral and documentary, was received and con- <br /> sidered in favor of the annexation, and no objections or pro- <br /> tests, either written or oral, were filed or made against said <br /> annexation, and the Board having found that notice has been <br /> given as required by law; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board does hereby <br /> determine that the territory hereinafter described is contiguous <br /> to the existing Walnut Acres Public Improvement and Street Light- <br /> ing Maintenance District, is unincorporated territory of the <br /> County of San Joaquin, and will be benefited by annexation to <br /> said District; and the proponents o: said annexation have paid <br /> to this District the required annexation fee in the amount of <br /> $900.00.
