[EH
From: Paul Schneider <pjs@siegfriedeng.com>
Sent: Friday, January 8, 2021 8:17 AM
To. Wong,Jeff [EHD]
Subject: RE: The Michaels, OWTS upgrade and NL revision for 9375 W. Sugar SR0082950
Response Letter
Attachments: 17017 MTI - EHD Comments 2021-01-07.pdf
CAUTION: This email is originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Jeff,
I have been able to update the documents to address your comments and try and reduce the confusion. Attached is the
response letter and below you will find a link to the aggregated submittal package. The way it is organized is as follows:
1. The front section is the sewer design memo that address staff count and the leach field design and operational
parameters.
2. The memo has 4 appendices.
Appendix A is the original Chesney nitrate loading study used as reference for field data
Appendix B is the updated nitrate loading study that address many of your comments
Appendix C is the original Chesney groundwater and soil testing just as a reference document
Appendix D is the revised improvements plans including the proposed expansion and site changes
In a nut shell I was able to respond thoroughly to your concerns and comments. In the end I was able prove out the
nitrate loading is not an issue, and was able to increase the daily use per employee by 387o over the memo you reviewed
and a little over 10% from the previously approved design that was installed in the first permit for 400 employees. This
should give us a safety factor.
Aggregated Submittal Link:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kf238m92o5ikfxk/AADTodvJvVJuFeISXEOQNkTxa?d1=0
Regards,
Paul Schneider, PE, QSD/QSP
President Managing Principal
3428 Brookside Road, Stockton, CA 95219 1 209.943.2021
900 Howe Avenue, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95825 916.520.2777
111 North Market Street, Ste 300, San Jose, CA 95113 408.754.2021
100 Sycamore Avenue, Ste 100, Modesto, CA 95354 1
209.762.3580
m 1 209.607.0710 f 209.942.0214
siegfriedeng.com
This electronic data is provided by Siegfried, as a courtesy.
