Sugar, Tracy <br />The following information is an itemized response to the Michaels Tenant..lmprovement Plans dated December 24, <br />2020: <br />Plan Check Comments: <br />1. Please review and revise the Section II Average Daily Flow of the Sewer Design to reflect peak use, and <br />any calculations as a result in both the Sewer Design as well as the NL Analysis, <br />Response: The peak use calculations were revised to reflect a roughly 10.5% increase over <br />previously approved waste generation rates which were 6.33gpd per employee. The new rate is <br />7.Ogpd per employee which represents a restroom use every 2.1 hours or 3.683 uses per 8 hour shift. <br />This increase has been carried forward and revised throughout both the sewer design memo and the <br />nitrate loading study. The result is a small increase in the filter bed area. <br />2. Please provide and justify how the average daily flow (ADF) is derived in Section IV Filter Bed <br />Calculations of the NL Analysis, and if need be, supportive document. <br />Response: The ADF and annual waste volume justification has been moved to Section II of the <br />nitrate loading update which is now Appendix B of the sewer design memo. In short, the revised <br />section details how the peak ADF was reduced and the number of active days anticipated so that the <br />annual volume for the nitrate loading could be established. <br />3. Please address the building use change potential in Section III of NL Analysis. Please provide specific <br />numbers (i.e., maximum employee occupancy at any one time, etc.) <br />Response: Section III of the nitrate loading update, which is now Appendix B of the Sewer Design <br />memo addresses the growth and change potential as requested. <br />4. Please clarify the specific proposed work to the existing OWTS being proposed in Section II and III of the <br />NL Analysis, versus what is already existing. <br />Response: Sections II and III of the nitrate loading update, which is now Appendix B of the Sewer <br />Design memo addresses the changes as requested. <br />5.
