INTRODUCTION <br />This document was prepared in accordance with the California Environmental <br />Quality Act and State Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Guidelines. Included <br />in this document are comments and responses to comments on the Draft EIR, <br />which along with the Draft EIR document, constitutes the Final EIR for the <br />proposed General Plan Amendment for the Traina Brothers Property. <br />The Draft EIR for this project was circulated for public review for a period <br />of 45 days, ending July 24, 1987, during which time comment letters regarding <br />the project and the adequacy of the Draft EIR were submitted to San Joaquin <br />County. The Final EIR includes all comments received by the County during the <br />review period and responses to these comments. The Draft EIR text is included <br />in this doccument for reference as an appendix. <br />4, <br />
