The project itself will not significantly impact State <br />highway travel. However, cumulative impacts from the continuing D.1 <br />development of the Tracy area and surrounding area will have <br />significant impacts on Interstate 205. <br />2. Caltrans fully supports the suggested mitigation on page <br />3.3-9 "... for provisions of ridesharing.to be included as conditions D.2 <br />of approval on any future subdivision map." Reference is also made <br />that "provisions also include ... contribution to a Park and Ride <br />Facility." Caltrans is particularly interested in acquiring a Park <br />and Ride facility in the Tracy area along 205. Caltrans would <br />like to see how these provisions will be implemented. <br />3. Caltrans appreciates the opportunity to comment on this <br />DEIR and requests a copy of the Final DIR to be provided when <br />available.
