18. Cont - <br /> c) Submit a letter from the water :supplier stating that ample water for <br /> normal use and fire protection, if any, is available and will be 'fur- <br /> nished on demand without exception to each and every lot, and showing <br /> that the water for domestic use will be potable. <br /> 1. If water is to be furnished by a public utility water company, <br /> furnish one verified or certified copy of "Water Supply Supple- <br /> mental Questionnaire For Other Than Publicly Owned or 'Mutual <br /> System" to the Public Utilities Commission, State Building, San <br /> Francisco, Ca. 94102, and then submit confirmation of the Public <br /> Utilities Commission' s approval to the Department of Real Estate. <br /> 2. If the water company is a mutual water company, submit a copy of <br /> the permit to issue shares granted by the State Department of <br /> Corporations . <br /> d) If individual wells are proposed for water supply, submit following: <br /> 1)V A showing that water is or will be potable; <br /> 2) a California-licensed well driller' s estimated cost for drilling <br /> and casing a well; <br /> 3) cost of a pressure pump and system; <br /> 4)1/ depth at which water may be found; <br /> 5) a letter from local health authority stating that individual wells <br /> will be permitted and the typeof sewage disposalsyc m per- <br /> missible <br /> er- <br /> ro- sible with wells on the size of lot proposed. <br /> NOTE: A geologist' s report as to availability of underground water <br /> may be required. <br /> 19. Fire Protection - <br /> If tract is not in an incorporated city, but fire protection is to be avail- <br /> able, submit letter from the fire protection agency stating what protection <br /> will be provided, including charges or special conditions, if any, and what <br /> fire hazards exist within the subdivision and surrounding area. <br /> a) Name of fire department or fire district, if any <br /> b) What provisions are or will be made available for fire protection? <br /> c) Will fire hydrants be provided? L/ yes u no. <br /> d) If not, describe source of water for fire protection. <br /> -13- <br />
