The Hazardous Materials Management Plan
(HMMP) was submitted as fulfilling the Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan requirement for Large Quantity
Generators. Unfortunately the template that the Office of Emergency Services uses does not meet all of the
requirements for a contingency plan (see scanned email that was sent to Angela Banks on 12/16/09).
Information on the status of completing the Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment for all tanks storing hazardous
waste onsite is also required to be submitted.
Raymond von Flde
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 E.
