SAN JOAQUIN <br />COUN T Y <br />Greotness grows herc <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br />Time Out: <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: PG&E Date: 03/18/2021 <br />Address: 29933 S LEHMAN RD, TRACY <br />Owner/Operator: ALVAREZ, JACK & SABRA L TR ETAL Telephone: <br />Program Element: 2546- RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: C00053565 <br />Responsible Party Contact: ALEX STEELE <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />Approximately 7 gallons non-PCB mineral oil spilled onto soil. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />On 03/18/2021 the EHD received notification from Alex Steele (PG&E) for a 7-gallon mineral oil spill onto soil. The spill was <br />due to a leak from a pole-mounted transformer. At spill site, observed spill area to be approximately 7.5 ft. x 1.5 ft. PG&E <br />completed the spill clean up by removing oil-contaminated soil to an average depth of 1 ft. Cleanup was deemed adequate as <br />no oily soil or odor were observed. A total of two 55-gallon drums of soil contaminated with transformer mineral oil was <br />generated. Waste was transported to 4040 West Ln, Stockton, CA 95204 following cleanup pending disposal. <br />Provide analytical lab results for the transformer oil sample once obtained. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
