Time In: <br />Time Out: <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: JAVID FARMS Date: 04/23/2021 <br />Address: 0 W WOODBRIDGE RD, LODI <br />Owner/Operator: Jahin Javid Telephone: 209-663-5510 <br />Program Element: 2546 - RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: COOVVV7MNN <br />Responsible Party Contact: RAHIN JAVID <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />APPROXIMATELY 165 POUNDS POWDERED SULFUR SPILLED ONTO ROAD AND SHOULDER. LESS THAN ONE <br />GALLON OF MOTOR OIL SPILLED ONTO ROAD. CAL OES CONTROL #:21-2132. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />April 22, 2021: On scene in response to notification from California Highway Patrol (CHP) of a powdered sulfur spill on the <br />roadway and shoulder due to a traffic collision. Javid Farms swept up the spilled sulfur off the road and soil. Three black <br />garbage bags (approximately 50 pounds capacity each) were filled with the spilled sulfur. Observed the sulfur cleanup on the <br />road and shoulder to be adequate. Observed two motor oil spills on the roadway, less than one gallon in total. One oil spill had <br />been cleaned up by Lodi Heavy Haul Towing with absorbent. The smaller oil spill was cleaned up with absorbent by Javid <br />Farms. Both oil spills were observed to be cleaned adequately. The powdered sulfur was collected will be used in agricultural <br />processes. The oily absorbent was recovered and will be reused to cleanup other oil spills. No waste was generated. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
