SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE <br />NOTICE TO ABATE <br />Responsible Party: SUNDANCE TRANSPORTATION Date: Dec 08, 2020 <br />RP Mailing Address: PO BOX 5605 Record ID#: COVVZIRJVO <br /> <br />EL DORADO HILLS, CA 95762- Program Element: 2546 <br /> <br />Spill Location: 14749 N THORNTON RD, LODI <br /> Release/Spill Response (excluding Joint Team) <br />NATURE OF WASTE DISCHARGE/WASTE RELEASE: <br />A truck collided into dispenser #6 causing the release of approximately 45 gallons of renewable diesel (R99). <br />OBSERVATIONS: <br />The truck collision into dispenser #6 caused a release of approximately 45 gallons into the dispenser's sump, pavement, <br />drain, and the onsite well sump. Facility personnel performed initial cleanup, however, additional cleanup is needed. <br />Clean up all released material, lines, and sump. Ensure all wastes are containerized and labeled properly. Dispose of it <br />under all appropriate waste manifesting and waste disposal laws and regulations. The disposal of any hazardous waste, or <br />the causing thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is at a facility which is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste <br />disposal. [HSC 25189.5 (a).] Please be aware that all hazardous waste shall be disposed of under appropriate hazardous <br />waste manifesting procedure [HSC 25160 (b)(3)]. Make a hazardous waste determination for all waste materials and <br />dispose of them as required, and provide proof of correction and copies of waste disposal records to the EHD. <br />VIOLATIONS: <br />LI Discharge of any waste, including sewage <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br />Ei Discharge of waste or sewage to water or within 150 ft. of waterway <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Sections 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br />Improper disposal of a hazardous waste <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br />E Permitting or Maintaining a Nuisance <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Section 8-5100) <br />[1 Other Violation <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS / ORDER: <br />Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br />Immediately. <br />Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br />Provide final disposal records. <br />Other Correction <br />EHD 25-01 Rev, 9/16/2020 WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE NOTICE TO ABATE <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />1868 E.
