Previous area of concern regarding exceeding 200 vehicles per day has been corrected. According to the Daily Trip <br /> Counts document, the traffic volume for each day was under 200. <br /> 2. No holes were observed in the tarps. Trash surrounding the tarps was minimal. <br /> 3. Gas monitoring was conducted with two perimeter gas wells and the following was recorded: <br /> SG-108: (S)0.0% CH4-0.8% CO2-20.8% 02-78.4% BAL <br /> (1)0.0% CH4-0.4% CO2-20.8% 02-78.8% BAL <br /> (D)0.0% CH4-0.2% CO2-21.1% 02-78.7% BAL <br /> SG-110: (S)0.0% CH4-0.2% CO2-21.5% 02-78.3% BAL <br /> (1)0.0% CH4-0.6% CO2-21.0% 02-78.4% BAL <br /> (D)0.0% CH4-0.3% CO2-21.1% 02-78.6% BAL <br /> 4. Perimeter gas well#108 was able to be unlocked. <br /> 5. At the active face, dust control was observed (water truck). <br /> 6. There were very few birds observed on site. <br /> 7. Burrowing animal control measures were in place (bait stations). <br /> 8. Employees were observed wearing personal protective safety equipment. <br /> 9.All records were available for review. <br /> 10.A complaint was received by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department on 8/15/16.According to <br /> the complaint, the landfill was dumping leachate into an area reserved for flood control. In response to the complaint, a <br /> site visit to the landfill was conducted on 8/17/16. The complaint was explained to Tony Gladney, supervisor. Tony <br /> denied the accusation of the complaint. According to Tony, the leachate is handled according to the landfill's waste <br /> discharge requirements. Tony and I drove throughout the site, including the areas designed to handle storm water. No <br /> dumped leachate was observed.
