Disposal Facility Inspection Report (52) <br />Enforcement Agency. 1county of San Joaquin <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF DIVISION 30 OF PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />CalRecycle Solid Waste Information System (SWIS) 1 of 1 <br />No Violations oriAreas of Concern <br />V" <br />" A <br />Regulations" <br />x <br />20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Comments: Erosion rills were observed on the north side of Module 'T" No exposed waste was observed. <br />A. The drainage system shall be designed and maintained to prevent exposure of waste. <br />B. Fill in the erosion rills with clean soil. <br />x <br />20830 - Litter Control <br />Comments: Windblown litter was observed east of the active face and in the retention pond south of the active <br />face. <br />A. Litter shall be controlled, routinely collected and disposed of properly. <br />B. Utilize litter control measures (i.e. litter fences) to prevent windblown litter in quantities that create a nuisance. <br />C. This is a repeat area of concern. <br />Inspection Report Comments:" <br />Routine monthly inspection done on this date and the following was noted: <br />1. <br />The remaining erosion rills on the west side of Module "I" were filled in with clean soil. <br />2. <br />No exposed waste was observed around the perimeter of the tarps used to cover the active face from the previous <br />day. <br />3. <br />No daylighting was observed at the active face. <br />4. <br />Gas monitoring was conducted with one perimeter gas well and the following was recorded: <br />SG -123: (S) 0.0% CH4- 0.4% CO2- 22.3% 02- 78.1 % BAL <br />(1) 0.0% CH4- 0.5% CO2- 21.3% 02- 77.9% BAL <br />(D) 0.0% CH4- 0.5% CO2- 21.3% 02- 77.9% BAL <br />5. <br />Employees were observed wearing personal protective safety equipment. <br />6. <br />Burrowing animal control measures were in place via bait stations. <br />7. <br />The appliances were removed since the previous monthly inspection. However there was residual material on the <br />ground. Facility was instructed to clean up the material. <br />8. <br />Facility received 1,489.66 tons on 3/16/17.
