`ST -E OF CALIFORNIA California Integrated Waste
CIWMB 3 (Rev. 4/04) Management Board
INSPECTION REPORT ADDENDUM PAGE 2 OF 2
AGENCY CONDUCTING INSPECTION: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
SITE NUMBER: 39-AA-0004 INSPECTOR: Garrett Backus
SITE NAME: Foothill Landfill
RECEIVED BY
INSPECTION DATE: August 17, 2007 OPERATOR -----
COMMENTS:
(7Z d-
A routine inspection was done on this day.
1) Note—A load of demolition waste observed at the landfill on June 15, 2007 contained seven pieces of
treated wood waste (TWW). Foothill Landfill is a composite lined landfill but is not certified by the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board to accept TWW. The operator transferred the TWW to a landfill
approved to accept this material on August 7, 2007. A manifest is on file with the operator and was reviewed
by the LEA. Landfill customers with TWW in their loads will be directed to take the TWW to a facility
approved to accept TWW. The area of concern for T27 CCR 20870 is resolved.
2) Note—Measured several perimeter soil gas probes for methane concentration: SG-2, SG-4 and SG-10
contained 0.0%, 0.4% and 0.1% methane; respectively.
3) Note -Reviewed the daily load check records. Records were complete and up-to-date.
4) Note - Reviewed the tonnage and traffic records. Records were within the permit limits.
INSPECTOR SIGNATURE: DATE: `7J I
