STATE OF CALIFORNIA 0 California Integrated Waste <br /> CIWMB 03 (Rev. 4/04) Management Board <br /> INSPECTION REPORT ADDENDUM PAGE 2 OF 2 <br /> AGENCY CONDUCTING INSPECTION: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> SITE NUMBER: 39-AA-0004 INSPECTOR: Robert McClellon <br /> SITE NAME: Foothill Landfill Inc. <br /> RECEIVED BY <br /> INSPECTION DATE: 11/28/07 OPERATOR <br /> COMMENTS: <br /> A routine inspection was conducted this date. The following was noted: <br /> 1. The site had received four refrigeration units that contained Ammonia refrigerant.The unit was being stored away from <br /> the working face.The units need to be cordoned off until such time as they can be removed from the site or processed to <br /> safely remove the ammonia. <br /> 2. The EHD was notified on November 7,2007 that the site inadvertently received roofing material that contained friable <br /> asbestos on October 31,2007.The roofing material came from a contractor working on an old building in Stockton,CA. <br /> The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District made the notification.The area has been cordoned off.The matter <br /> has been referred to the CUPA Program for follow up. <br /> • The site had adequate cover <br /> • The electronic waste being removed from the waste <br /> • The landfill gas was monitored during the inspection. The results are as follows <br /> GW-11 0.4%CH4 <br /> GW-12 0.0%(S) 0.0%(I)0.0%(D)CH4 <br /> GW-3 0.0%CH4 <br /> GW-4 0.0%CH4 <br /> • Litter fences in place.Good litter control exhibited. <br /> • Facility complying with winterization plan as submitted to the EHD <br /> • No obvious signs of erosion.
