S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> C C u N T AMENDED <br /> 12/6/2022 <br /> Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> ESCALON MINI MART 1097 YOSEMITE AVE, ESCALON December 06, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 308 CCR 2632(c), 2634(d), 2636(f) Failure of the leak detection equipment to have an audible and visual alarm. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 91 STP sump sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested to ensure <br /> continuous monitoring of the tank system. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Correct immediately by having a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor replace <br /> the failed component with a functional component(LG 113-x listed, if applicable), and obtain a permit within one <br /> business day from the EHD, if needed. If the failed component can't be replaced immediately,there is a possibility <br /> that the 91 UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 319 CCR 2635, 2637.2,2665, 2712 Failure to comply with overfill prevention equipment requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION: The fill tube shut off valve used as the overfill prevention system is not currently functional on the <br /> 87 UST. Per the 11/15/2021 Overfill Prevention Test result; the 87 overfill prevention equipment failed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All UST systems must be equipped with an approved,functional overfill prevention <br /> device at all times during delivery operations. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately discontinue deposition of petroleum into this tank until the component is <br /> repaired or replaced by a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor under permit and inspection of the EHD. <br /> If the failed component can't be replaced immediately,there is a possibility that the 87 UST system may be red <br /> tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
