I was told they never implemented the activity even though it was approved and have no plans for it. The staff report is under review making it's way up the chain. Please check the website for the amended proposed permit if you haven't seen it. Christy I would also like to add, the RFI is supposed to describe current operations and the RFI will need to better describe the activity if indeed they are going to do it and it can be added to the permit however, a permit modification may be needed to take it out when the C&D processing takes it's place. If they have no intention of spreading then it should come out/stay out. Let me know if you have questions. I was unaware that the latest revised permit would remove the tomato waste spreading operations; it has been my understanding that the operator was planning to keep this option open while the facility expansion was underway.
