Gianna Garcia, assistant store manager, placed the aerosol can in a bag and <br /> placed it into the Flammables HW tote at the time of inspection. <br /> All hazardous waste shall be contained in a closed container.All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all <br /> times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately ensure all hazardous waste is contained in a closed container and all hazardous waste containers are <br /> closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 404 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. The following hazardous waste(HW)containers were <br /> observed with broken/cracked lids in the facility's HW storage area: <br /> -An Oxidizers HW tote(IMG 3376-3378). <br /> -A State Toxic HW tote(IMG 3384-3387). <br /> -A Corrosive Bases HW tote(IMG 3393-3397). <br /> -A Corrosive Acids HW tote(IMG 3398-3401). <br /> -A Flammables HW tote(IMG 3405-3406). <br /> The most recent Weekly Inspection Log was completed on September 24, 2018 by Sandra Nunez,the store <br /> manager, according to Gianna Garcia, the assistant store manager(IMG 3439).
