EI Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95204 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to do the following on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above <br /> noted address: <br /> • Replace all diesel primary and secondary piping <br /> The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department for any applicable permits and <br /> requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Provide written notification to ust(a)-siciov.org to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour <br /> notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Primary piping test: Soap test of all diesel piping and penetrations (product, vapor <br /> recovery, vent, and chase), and one-hour pneumatic pressure test, in accordance with <br /> manufacturer installation instructions. <br /> b. Verification of secondary piping slope at 1/8 inch per foot or greater, to a containment <br /> sump with an audible and visual alarm. <br /> c. Secondary piping test: Soap test of all diesel piping and penetrations (product, vapor <br /> recovery, vent, and chase), and one-hour pressure test at the manufacturer's <br /> recommended specification. <br /> d. Verification of all pipe setbacks, cross-overs, and burial depth according to the <br /> manufacturer's installation instructions, and verification of appropriate piping backfill. <br /> e. Since concrete will be broken near the additional piping, UDCs and tanks, a secondary <br /> containment test must be performed on the affected components once concrete is poured <br /> in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the diesel UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 1868 E.
