This letter is to inform you of a recent sighting of a San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes <br /> Alulrnbn f.Sproul macrotis mutica)along Patterson Run on the Tristate-Cheng parcel of the Patterson Pass . <br /> .t rto ri'a ter <br /> Business Park. Patterson Run is an intermittent creek that crosses the site in an <br /> approximately north-south direction between the California Aqueduct and the Delta- <br /> Deborah Bacr Mendota Canal. The creek is located about 3,000 to 4,000 feet west of Patterson Pass <br /> James Baum Road (a.k.a. Mountain House Parkway) and about 1,500 to 2,000 feet west of the <br /> Connie eatica current development phase with frontage on Patterson Pass Road. <br /> stcaen 17 Conk-ling <br /> Ron Dobbe rtra <br /> Gary Dora During a daytime assessment of Patterson Run on Tuesday,August 17, 1999,a single <br /> Richard Enkkinn kit fox was observed along the bank of the creek by wildlife biologist David Muth. Mr. <br /> Kevin Fincher Muth was about 50-60 feet from the animal when he saw it. After about 20-30 seconds, <br /> Clint Kelbeer the fox ran up the bank of the creek and out of sight.
