Patterson Run is an intermittent creek that crosses the site in an n f f a cia r r f approximately north-south direction between the California Aqueduct and the Delta- Deborah Baer Mendota Canal. The creek is located about 3,000 to 4,000 feet west of Patterson Pass . Jame;Baum Road (a.k.a. Mountain House Parkway) and about 1,500 to 2,000 feet west of the Carne Ca(ica current development phase with frontage on Patterson Pass Road. Stren N.Conkhng .. Roff Dobbertrcn Cory Oma During a daytime assessment of Patterson Run on Tuesday,August 17, 1999,a single Ricbard Erkkfan kit fox was observed along the bank of the creek by wildlife biologist David Muth. Mr. KmZ?t Pincher Muth was about 50-60 feet from the animal when he saw it. After about 20-30 seconds, Clint Kelart, - the fox ran up the bank of the creek and out of sight. There are a number of potential Laum LnJler dens along Patterson Run,however, none have been confirmed as actual kit fox dens. Bomar Lee Scat of the appropriate size for kit fox also was found on the upper bank of the creek Judith A dlatama: sab,ina rvi<balh along with coyote scat.
