Fine Avenue, Suite 103 <br />Fresno, CA 93727 <br />Re: Escalon Ranch Colony Antiquated Subdivision Lots 25, 26, 47-50, 71-74, 95, and 96 <br />The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division will approve individual <br />sewage disposal systems and water wells on each of the above referenced lots under the following <br />conditions: <br />1. The installation of septic systems must be under an application, permit, inspection and approved by <br />this Department. systems must consist of a septic tank, leach field and seepage pits sized at the time <br />of construction according to San Joaquin County standards. The permit fee is $114.00 for each <br />system. Based on the percolation test sewage pits will be required on the individual parcels at the <br />time of development. <br />2. The installation of water wells and pumps must be under application, permit, inspection and approved <br />by this Department. Wells are to have a minimum 100 foot grout seal and be installed according <br />to San Joaquin County standards. The permit fee is $134.00 for each well and pump installation. <br />The water in the general vicinity has been found to be bacteriologically potable however, chemical quality <br />has not been ascertained other than nitrate which were found to be within state standards for public <br />drinking water. However there are no state regulations that apply public drinking water standards to <br />private wells. <br />The compliance of these lots (parcels) as they relate to the subdivision Map Act is the responsibility of <br />the San Joaquin County Planning Department.
