40 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE: <br />Proposed No Further Action Determination <br />RMB GARAGE <br />`f, 715 NORTH HUNTER STREET, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN <br />O <br />COUNTY <br />State of California Case #391114 <br />Gavin Newsom, GeoTracker Global ID: T0607791425 <br />Governor <br />The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central <br />Valley Water Board) invites public comment on the proposed No <br />Further Action Determination and closure of the RMB Garage <br />underground storage tank (UST) case, located at 715 North Hunter <br />Street, Stockton, CA (Site). A map showing the Site investigation area <br />California Environmental and the current remaining extent of petroleum impact to groundwater <br />Protection Agency is attached as Figure 1. <br />Jared Blumenfeld PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: <br />Secretary of the 7 January through 8 March 2022 (60 days) <br />Environment <br />CASE SUMMARY: <br />^oto RMB Garage is currently occupied by an auto service repair shop. Based on <br />weir: is,).,C6 historical research of the area, the site began dispensing fuel in the 1930's or <br />1940's and ceased prior to 1986. On 12 April 2001, one 500 -gallon waste oil <br />State Water Resources UST (T1) and two 500 -gallon fuel UST's (T2 & T3) were removed from <br />Control Board beneath the sidewalk. During the tank removal, petroleum hydrocarbons were <br />E. Joaquin Esquivel, detected in soil samples collected, indicating an unauthorized release of <br />Chair petroleum hydrocarbons had occurred <br />RMB Garage has performed investigation, cleanup, and monitoring activities <br />Regional Water Quality including soil borings and installation of several groundwater monitoring and <br />Control Board, remediation wells. Between September 2008 and November 2016, RMB <br />Central Valley Region Garage performed dual phase extraction (DPE) remediation. This type of <br />Karl Longley, Chair remediation applies a vacuum to the subsurface to remove both petroleum <br />impacted groundwater and soil vapor. As such, this Site has been <br />recommended for closure by Advanced Geo Inc. (AGI) under California's Low <br />alan.buehler(a�- Threat UST Case Closure Policy.
