Purpose <br /> The purpose of this site - specific safety plan (SSSP) is to establish a baseline requirement standard for this <br /> project , which accounts for site - specific hazards and circumvents those hazards effectively . <br /> Scope <br /> This plan shall cover all SAVE ON FUEL project operations for the complete duration of the project term . <br /> Key Responsibilities <br /> Safety Manager <br /> • Implement and enforce this plan . <br /> • Ensure that this plan complies with regulatory standards and update the program accordingly . <br /> • Ensure that managers and employees comply with all parts of this plan . <br /> • Ensure that this plan aligns with adjacent project safety plans . <br /> Site Manager <br /> • Ensure that all employees comply with the details of this plan . <br /> • Ensure that horseplay and other unsafe acts are not tolerated . <br /> • Ensure that all employees are have the proper training required to operate specialized equipment <br /> and tools . <br /> • Perform daily inspections of the site to ensure no uncontrolled hazards are present and perform <br /> corrective action wherever hazards are not controlled . <br /> • Perform daily safety meetings with all employees to discuss general safe work practices . <br /> Employees <br /> • Comply with all parts of this program . <br /> • Do not participate in horseplay or activities , which present a hazard to yourself or other personnel <br /> on site . <br /> Requirements <br /> The following requirements shall be adhered to in order to achieve compliance with regulatory <br /> standards and ultimately keep employees safe on the job : <br /> • Only trained and authorized persons are allowed to operate specialized tools and equipment . <br /> • At least 1 copy of this plan shall be posted in a common area at the project site so affected personnel <br /> may reference it at anytime during their course of work . <br /> • All hazards and incidents must be reported to the safety manager immediately . <br /> • Hazards shall be isolated and personnel shall be removed from hazardous atmospheres until <br /> corrective action has mitigated or eliminated risks . <br /> • A written record of all corrective actions made on the site shall be made and provided to the safety <br /> manager whenever a new hazard is identified and mitigated with corrective action . <br /> Emergency Procedures <br /> All personnel shall adhere to the following emergency procedures : <br /> • Report all hazards immediately to the safety manager and/or the next individual in the chain of <br /> command . <br />
