COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THAT WHEN THEIR HUSBAND OPENED HIS SANDWICH TO CHECK IT, <br />HE FOUND 2 BUGS CRAWLING INSIDE OF IT. COMPLAINANT TOOK FOOD BACK TO FACILITY AND EMPLOYEES <br />WERE GIVING COMPLAINANT A HARD TIME, TRYING NOT TO GIVE THEM THEIR REFUND. EVENTUALLY <br />COMPLAINANT RECEIVED A REFUND. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />I went to the facility and spoke to person in charge who was aware of complaint. I spoke to the PIC who remembers the order. <br />One sandwich was steak and the other salami sandwich. <br />I looked at vegetables and lunch meat in walk in (containers are coved) and on prep line and did not observe "bugs" <br />I also observed prepped vegetables on prep line and did not observe bugs. <br />All vegetables are washed prior to prepping. <br />I observed slicer that appears clean at this time. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
