The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by <br /> the service technician. Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained and located to detect a leak at the <br /> earliest opportunity. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 306 HSC 25291(e)Failure to remove, analyze, and properly dispose of water in secondary containment(pre-Jul 2003). <br /> OBSERVATION: Liquid was observed in the 87 submersible turbine pump(STP)sump. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it <br /> must be removed and disposed of properly. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site. The service technician removed approximately 1/2 a cup of <br /> liquid from the 87 STP sump. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained free of liquid. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 308 CCR 2632(c), 2634(d), 2636(f) Failure of the leak detection equipment to have an audible and visual alarm. <br /> OBSERVATION: The float and chain in the 81 and 91-grade UDC 3/4 failed to stop the flow of product at the <br /> dispenser when tested. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: This was corrected on site. The service technician adjusted the float and chain and verified <br /> functionality. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
