The training shall be conducted before the <br /> individual performs the duties of a facility employees.The training shall include, but is not limited to: <br /> 1. Operation of the UST system in a manner consistent with the facility's best management practices <br /> 2. Employee's role with regard to monitoring equipment as specified in the facility's monitoring plan <br /> 3. Employee's role with regard to spills and overfills as specified in the facility's response plan <br /> 4. Name of the contact person(s)for emergencies and monitoring equipment alarms <br /> Initial training shall also include a site-specific practical demonstration that provides both sharing information and <br /> evaluating knowledge for responding to emergencies, leak detection, monitoring alarms, spills and overfills. At least <br /> one of the facility employees present during operating hours shall have current training. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that employees have been trained by the designated operator, maintain the list on <br /> site, and submit a copy of the training records to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 306 HSC 25291(e)Failure to remove,analyze, and properly dispose of water in secondary containment(pre-Jul 2003). <br /> OBSERVATION: Liquid was observed in the UDC 3/4, 7/8 and 87 STP sumps. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it <br /> must be removed and disposed of properly. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The service technician removed approximately halve a gallon of liquid from the UDC 3/4, <br /> 7/8 and 87 STP sumps. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained free of liquid. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 319 CCR 2635, 2637.2,2665, 2712 Failure to comply with overfill prevention equipment requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION: Overfill prevention testing has not been conducted. Overfill prevention equipment was last <br /> conducted on 10/09/2018. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Overfill prevention equipment inspections were required to be conducted by October <br /> 13, 2018, and every 36 months thereafter, and within 30 days of completion of a repair. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately schedule this testing and provide 48 hours notification to the EHD.
